Privacy policy

Updated October 9, 2026. Covers the SketchDraw Whiteboard Mac app, this website and voluntary support requests.

Local app data

SketchDraw stores boards, images, private slide notes, templates, preferences, snapshots, recovery copies and archived boards in a local workspace on your Mac. The app does not upload your boards to our servers. Drawing works offline without a SketchDraw account.

SketchDraw does not add its own encryption to these workspace files. Your Mac account, disk protection and any backup services you choose control access outside the app.

App analytics and advertising

The Mac app has no remote usage-analytics or advertising service. Apple may collect platform diagnostics or provide store analytics according to your Apple settings and its own privacy policy.

Presentations and exported files

The audience window receives the current drawing and slide region. Dedicated private speaker notes and workspace controls are excluded. Private text you write directly on the canvas is drawing content and can be visible to an audience.

PNG, SVG and Excalidraw drawing exports exclude dedicated private notes and demo-baseline metadata. Complete SketchDraw board files include private notes and the demo baseline. You choose where to save and share files. Sharing your whole screen can expose your private workspace.

Local diagnostics

The app keeps a bounded local support log with app and operating-system details, operation names, error codes and workspace counts. Its exported report excludes drawing content, private notes, image data, board titles and personal workspace paths. You choose whether to export or send it. Preferences includes a clear-log control.

Support email

If you email maxwellcoleapps@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, investigate issues and maintain relevant support records. Do not include sensitive content you do not want to share. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence, subject to any applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Support email uses Gmail, so Google also processes that correspondence under its own service and privacy terms. Contact us if you need help with a data request.

Archive, deletion and backups

Archiving preserves boards without automatic expiration. Permanent deletion removes the selected archived copy and history or recovery files no remaining board uses. Existing backups and quarantined originals may still contain the data. This is not secure erasure. Manage copies in external backup services separately.

App Store purchases

Apple manages App Store purchases, downloads, payment information and refunds. We do not receive your Apple Account password or payment-card details through the app. Apple may provide sales, proceeds, acquisition and diagnostic reports under its platform rules. See Apple’s privacy policy.

Website hosting

This static website is hosted by Cloudflare. We add no advertising or visitor-analytics scripts and no contact form. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, browser and request information, logs, and security cookies to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not use this website to upload or store your boards.
